- Terminology Tidbit: Some standard industry terminology for tables:
- Banquet: 30 inches wide
- Seminar: 18 inches wide
- Cocktail or Cabaret: 32 inches tall
- Kiosk or Belly-buster: 42 inches tall
- 8-Top, 10-Top, 12-Top: Seating 8 people at a table and so on
- Food Service: Catering needs can often be overlooked. Their needs range from buffets and stations to kitchen and plating needs, captain's tables and bussing tables.
- Tables Use: Remember registration tables, display tables and drink stations. You can do more than just the "standard" set-up, depending on the venue.
- Table Coverings: Event Services owns a variety of linen, Kwik Covers (plastic table coverings) and can outsource nearly any color or size.
